As readers of this blog know, I try to ignore much of the polling, which isn't hugely useful this far out, and which can send you chasing after fake trends. It does seem worth nothing, though, that McCain is winning — for the first time, I think — in the RealClearPolitics electoral college map, a roundup of state polls.
